Does
the MPM Manager create an environment for quality management?
Which approaches, systems and structures has the
MPM Manager put in place to promote improvement and facilitate
change?
Some specific questions to be
considered are:
1. Does the Manager of the MPM unit create and
promote an environment for quality MPM?
2. Does the Manager of the MPM unit interact with
consultative bodies to promote an environment of quality in the
MPM unit?
3. Does the MPM Manager ensure that the values and
goals of the MPM unit are attuned to the values and goals of its
parent body eg. the municipal administration?
4. Does the Manager encourage all members of the
unit to aim for common MPM goals?
5. Are the efforts of the MPM Manager to create a
climate of quality management evaluated? How is this done?
6. Has the MPM Manager learnt from his or her
experiences and sought to improve the way the unit is managed?
