Abstract

This paper is concerned with a local authority perspective towards dog control. This paper also deals with owners responsibilities in relation to dog ownership. It is very easy for anyone to become a dog owner without appreciating what the responsibilities are and how much continuous care is necessary to maintain a harmonious relationship between pets, their owners and the community.
